A BMW driver was caught speeding on the M6.

Police clocked them travelling at more than 100mph.

The vehicle was spotting breaking the speed limit on the motorway in Staffordshire .

They were caught between Junction 12, Cannock , and Junction 13, Dunston Interchange.

Once stopped by police, officers discovered the driver's rear tyres were also 'below the legal limit'.

In addition, their front windows were 'heavily tinted'.

In response, officers said the driver had claimed the condition of their tyres 'doesn't matter' as the vehicle was a '4x4'.

The driver was reported and officers issued a PG9 prohibition notice,
