After another tough loss on Saturday, Auburn football received even worse news in the aftermath.
Starting center Connor Lew is out for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL, a source with knowledge of the injury confirmed to AL.com. The injury occurred during Saturday’s game against Missouri.
Lew is a 3-year starter for the Tigers and has been projected by some outlets to be a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. He’s one of three starters on this season’s offensive line who started in 2024.
In his absence, Auburn will likely turn to true freshman center Kail Ellis. He filled in for Lew against Missouri, but has yet to start a college football game and is only 17 years old.
His first action will come this Saturday when Auburn travels to face Arkansas in Fayetteville. That game
