Following Week 9 of high school fall sports in Western North Carolina, it's time to vote for this week's Ingles Western North Carolina girls Athlete of the Week.

Asheville Christian Academy volleyball's Caroline Simpson was named last week's Ingles WNC girls Athlete of the Week. Madison football's Ivan Blankenship won last week's vote in the boys poll.

Vote for the girls athlete who had the best performance last week . The poll closes on Thursday at noon.

Sofi Alexander, Asheville High: Alexander won the Mountain Athletic Conference championship with a time of 18 minutes, 37 seconds.

Audrey Pressley, Franklin: Pressley's 15 kills, three blocks and 20 digs helped the Panthers to a 3-2 win over Brevard.

Shelbie Cannon, Hendersonville: Cannon recorded 50 assists and 14 digs in
