Ohio-based home furnishings retailer American Signature Furniture has announced plans to exit the Nashville market.

The privately-owned company plans to close its four Nashville-area stores as part of a broader realignment initiative to concentrate on operations in its top-performing regions, according to a release.

Locations slated to close are as follows:

Clarksville – 2821 Wilma Rudolph Blvd.

Franklin – 1770 Galleria Blvd.

Madison – 2130 Gallatin Pike N.

Murfreesboro – 2075 Old Fort Parkway

American Signature, which seemingly began operations in the Middle Tennessee market in 2003, operates 122 stores in 17 states across the U.S and has more than 3,200 employees.
