AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) - The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing woman.

25-year-old Charity Tasha Chase was last seen on June 22 at the Applebee's on Windsor Spring Road.

Her mother stated to investigators that she last heard from her over the phone on June 30, when she asked her mother for money. Her mother tried to contact her again via phone and social media but never heard back.

Investigators were told that Chase is reportedly known to be in legal trouble and dealing with drug problems, but was known to stay in contact with friends and family.

Chase is known to frequent the area of Bennock Mill Road and Horseshoe Road.

She's also known to go by Charity Freeman, Charity Fortner and Charity Raby.
