MONTPELIER, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Customers may want to keep an eye on their calendars. Vermont's Department of Motor Vehicles will be closed for multiple days in November for a computer systems upgrade, which they describe as "major".
This comes after the department's announcement last week about online temporary registration services pausing on November 1.
Online drivers license renewal services are pausing even earlier, on October 27. Additionally all Vermont DMV online services will be unavailable from November 5 until November 12.
The DMV will be taking "limited appointments" on November 5 and 6. Officials note that services involving vehicles will will only be available on November 6. After that, all offices will be closed to the public on November 7 and 10, including the call cente
