After helping lead Italy to the 2023 and 2024 Davis Cup championships, Jannik Sinner will not be competing in this year's event. Sinner, the second-ranked player in the ATP rankings who won the Australian Open and Wimbledon this year to bring his Grand Slam tally to four, has elected to end his season with next month's Nitto ATP Finals in Turin, Italy. He will not participate in the Davis Cup, which is being held in Bologna, Italy, from Nov. 18-23. "Jannik Sinner has not given his availability for 2025," Italian captain Filippo Volandri said.
