EAST COBB — Protesters gathered as far as the eye could see on all corners of the intersection of Roswell and Johnson Ferry roads to participate in one of more than 2,500 planned “No Kings” protests across the United States.

The protest, organized by Indivisible Cobb, spoke out against actions by President Donald Trump and his administration, including use of National Guard troops, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Medicaid cuts and tax breaks for the wealthy.

Indivisible Cobb is a nonpartisan group that organizes around progressive ideals, according to the organization’s website.

“We will not let him trample on the Constitution without pushing back and saying that we’re not going to stand for it. And we’re not alone,” said Stacey Parlotto, a leader of Indivisible Cobb.
