King Charles has met with the 'heroes' of the Heaton Park synagogue attack. The monarch travelled to Manchester on Monday (October 20) to visit the synagogue in Crumpsall before meeting emergency service workers who responded to the attack.
Crowds gathered on Middleton Road as the King was greeted by Rabbi Daniel Walker who barricaded the doors when the terrorist tried to enter. Two people were killed during the incident on Yom Kippur - the holiest day in the Jewish calendar - on October 2.
However, all three men who were injured attended the royal visit, including security guard Bernard who was in hospital gowns.
Yoni Finlay, 39, who was accidentally shot by police as he helped barricade the synagogue doors, met the King alongside his parents.
