KINGSTON — After 118 years on the water, the SS Keewatin is probably haunted.

Families will get the chance to check it out for themselves Oct. 26 when the Great Lakes Museum hosts its first interactive Halloween event.

Participants in the event event will be challenged with puzzles and clues as they try to free the ship’s captain and help regain control of the ship from spirits who have taken over.

“We’re thrilled to transform the historic SS Keewatin for Halloween!” Claire Notman, the museum’s visitor experience manager, said in a news release. “This interactive experience lets people experience the S.S. Keewatin in a new, spooky way.”

The 45-minute event is $13 and free of charge for children aged four and younger.

Registration is required and tickets are available until Thursday.
