Comedian, actor and former Saturday Night Live writer John Mulaney is coming back to New Orleans next year as part of his Mister Whatever tour.

A raft of new dates announced Monday for Mulaney's tour include a stop at the Mahalia Jackson Theater Feb. 20.

The show is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and tickets will go on sale Friday.

Mulaney, 43, has performed in New Orleans several times, including a 2023 show at the Mahalia Jackson Theater.

After his five-year stint as an SNL writer, Mulaney released a series of popular stand-up specials such as "New in Town," "The Comeback Kid" and "Kid Gorgeous." He earned praise for his energetic delivery and absurd storytelling.
