(The Hill) -- More Americans are worried about finding a good job than in previous years, according to a new poll.
The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll found that 47 percent of respondents said when it comes to their financial situation, they are “not very confident” or “not at all confident” that they “would be able to find a good job if” they desired one.
Thirty-seven percent in 2023 and 27 percent in 2021 said the same about their confidence level in finding a good job, marking a jump of 20 points in the last four years.
In the recent AP-NORC poll, 21 percent said they are either “extremely confident” or “very confident” considering their financial situation when it comes to finding a good job if they desired one.
