SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Police in Springfield have been cracking down on quality-of-life complaints during a recent park-and-sweep code enforcement operation in East Springfield.

Police said they issued 37 ordinance tickets, eight parking tickets, and towed one unregistered motor vehicle on Friday. Meanwhile, members of code enforcement issued 34 separate tickets.
