Fresh from a series of consistent performances in Asia, star Indian men’s doubles shuttlers Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty are all set to compete at the French Open Super 750 badminton tournament starting on Tuesday.

Satwik-Chirag, who reached the finals at both the Hong Kong and China Masters before exiting in the semifinals of the Denmark Open last week, will face the Indonesian pair of Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Rahmat Hidayat in their opening match.

Satwik-Chirag beat Ardianto and Hidayat in the quarterfinals of the Denmark Open, although in a three-game thriller, and would want to put up a better show in Rennes.
