Amazon's cloud infrastructure AWS has said that services are back after a major outage that disrupted business across industries worldwide for a few hours on Monday, October 20.

Although the underlying issue that caused the outage is not clear yet, the company stated it has "fully mitigated" the issue.

“The underlying DNS issue has been fully mitigated, and most AWS Service operations are succeeding normally now,” the statement said.

“Some requests may be throttled while we work toward full resolution. Additionally, some services are continuing to work through a backlog of events such as Cloudtrail and Lambda,” the company has said , adding that it is continuing to work toward full resolution.
