Hulu has greenlit a reboot of “ Prison Break ,” Variety has learned.

The project was first reported to be in the works at Hulu in December 2024 with a pilot order . The cast includes Emily Browning as Cassidy, Drake Rodger as Tommy, Lukas Gage as Jackson, Clayton Cardenas as Michael a.k.a “Ghost,” JR Bourne as Junior, Georgie Flores as Andrea, and Myles Bullock as Darius a.k.a “Red.”

As previously reported, the new show is set in the same world as the original series but will feature different characters and a new storyline. The official logline states, “An ex-soldier turned corrections officer (Browning) takes a job at one of the deadliest prisons in America to prove just how far she’ll go for someone she loves.”
