Defenceman Josh Harding is the only player still around from Edwards’s first stint with his hometown team, but he was welcomed with open arms after a recent trade with the Leamington Flyers. Article content Article content
“You crack a couple jokes and everyone laughs and there you go, you fit in,” Edwards said. “We all play the same sport. We all joke around about the same things. It wasn’t too hard.”
Finding his groove on the ice took a little longer, but not much. After being held off the scoresheet in his first four games, the 19-year-old forward has three goals in his last three games.
“I had a slow start, but I had one (goal) in London and I think I got the m
