One of the Denver Nuggets‘ better draft finds in recent years is cashing in.
Guard Christian Braun has signed a five-year, $125 million contract extension to stay with the Nuggets through the 2030-31 season, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Monday.
Braun was selected by the Nuggets with the 21st pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and blossomed into an everyday starter for the side last season.
He averaged 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting 58.0 per cent from the field and 39.7 per cent from three-point range in his third season. He added 12.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game in the playoffs.
