A Devon road was closed in both directions this evening (Monday) due to a tractor fire, according to reports.

Traffic monitoring site Inrix reported shortly after 5.45pm: "A3072 in both directions closed due to tractor fire from Church Road (Highampton) to A386 Bowling Green Lane (Hatherleigh)."

Maps showed that traffic appeared to be coping well, although there were queues close to the Ruby Country Camping campsite. The road had reopened, with traffic returned to normal, by 6.30pm.
