Chatham’s Ethan Jordan bolstered his candidacy for the OUA player of the year award with another big performance in the Laurier Golden Hawks’ season finale.
Jordan caught seven passes for 94 yards and a touchdown in the No. 1 Golden Hawks’ 60-13 win over the No. 2 Western Mustangs at London’s Alumni Stadium Saturday.
He connected with quarterback Cal Wither for a 59-yard TD, his 10th of the season.
Jordan’s former quarterback, Taylor Elgersma, won the last two OUA player of the year awards. He favours Jordan to win it this year.
“He’s had an unbelievable year,” Elgersma told the London Free Press. “I think he has shown how talented he is, even more so with a new quarterback situation and still going out doing what he’s doing. It’s impressive.”
Jordan, a three-time all-Canadian, lead
