Boyertown High School graduate Trey Yesavage has been making quite a name for himself during the Major League Baseball postseason with the Toronto Blue Jays.

Yesevage went 5 2/3 innings, allowing two earned runs, six hits and three walks, while striking out seven, to earn the win Sunday night in the Blue Jays’ 6-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners in Game 6 of the American League Champion Series.

He was drafted out of East Carolina University in the 2024 MLB draft and started the season in the minor leagues. He joined the big club in September .

He struck out nine in his Sept. 15 debut against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Yesavage set a Toronto postseason record Oct. 5 by striking out 11 in 5 1/3 no-hit innings in the ALDS against the Yankees.
