Kenny Chesney , June Carter Cash and Tony Brown were officially enshrined as Country Music Hall of Fame members during a Medallion Ceremony in Nashville on Sunday (Oct. 19.)

Each received a medallion and special plaque to be displayed in the museum's rotunda, and each were celebrated with tribute performances and surprise special guests.

Tony Brown, who was inducted in the Non-Performer category, was honored with performances by Lyle Lovett, Steve Earle , Trisha Yearwood and George Strait .

Vince Gill officially presented him with his medallion.
