MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) — A man who said he was a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent was arrested for drunk driving after he was pulled over for driving reckless while his two young children were in the vehicle, deputies said.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office arrested 42-year-old Scott Thomas Deisroth on Wednesday after receiving a call from another motorist to report his "reckless driving."
According to NBC affiliate WTVJ, the deputies pulled Deisroth over and inside his vehicle they found two children, ages 7 and 9.
Deputies said that Deiseroth, who identified himself as an ICE agent, had a strong odor of alcohol on him.
