The Calgary Fire Department (CFD) is fighting a structure fire in the city’s southeast Monday afternoon.

Calgary police say the blaze started around 1:30 p.m. on 58 Avenue SE between 1 Avenue SE and 2 Avenue SE.

Roads in that area are closed to allow for the fire department to work.

The public is asked to avoid the area for the time being.
