NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks rallied on Wall Street and neared their records following last week’s roller-coaster ride. The S&P 500 rose 1.1% Monday and pulled within 0.2% of its all-time high set earlier this month. The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 515 points, and the Nasdaq composite gained 1.4%. Apple was the strongest force lifting the market amid optimism about demand for its latest iPhone model. Bank stocks also rose to recover some of their losses from last week. Several big-name companies will be delivering their latest results this week, including Coca-Cola, Tesla and Procter & Gamble. Stock indexes also climbed across much of Europe and Asia.
