Hamas has handed over the body of another Gaza hostage to the Red Cross, while US officials have been meeting the Israeli Prime Minister in a bid to push forward the Gaza ceasefire deal.

The U.S. led agreement took effect more than a week ago.

But the ceasefire remains fragile. At least 80 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the start of the ceasefire, most by Israeli strikes in the last 24 hours, while two Israeli soldiers were killed yesterday in southern Gaza.
