Yankees free agent Devin Williams linked to surprisingly bad NL team

Devin Williams is coming off a bumpy season for the New York Yankees .

But the righty relief pitcher was so good for so long with the Milwaukee Brewers that he'll still likely garner a ton of interest in free agency.

The Yankees could certainly bring him back, but a different team has emerged as an early contender.

According to Kevin Barral of Fish On First , the Miami Marlins plan to target Williams.

Williams has already said he wouldn't mind returning to the Bronx.

“I really enjoyed my experience here," Williams told MLB.com's Bryan Hoch . "There’s a lot to like about this city, but it took me some time to adjust.”
