A police probe has been launched into the alleged rape of a 10-year-old girl by an asylum seeker at a migrant centre. A man, understood to be from Africa, is alleged to have sexually assaulted the Irish child on the grounds of the Citywest Hotel – not inside the building – in Dublin on Monday morning (October 20).
