CHICAGO (NewsNation) — A federal judge's concerns over whether federal agents and officers are violating a previously issued temporary restraining order against anti-ICE protesters have brought top U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection officials into a new, intensified spotlight.

But as Judge Sara Ellis fears the feds are wrongfully targeting protesters in Operation Midway Blitz, Deputy ICE Director Shawn Byers says he is unable to obtain federal funding for a hard drive to keep video from the suburban Chicago ICE facility, that he site of violent clashes involving the deployment of tear gas, pepper balls and other non-lethal weapons.
