ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — After three weeks on the job, Monroe County District Attorney Brian Green agreed to sit down with News 8's Adam Chodak to talk about the new role and his appointment to it.

As a reminder Green, a Democrat, was appointed to the post by Governor Hochul after Sandra Doorley, a Republican, stepped down in the wake of her coarse exchange with a police officer.

We talked about a lot, including bail reform.

I asked him whether he agreed with those, especially those in local law enforcement, who claim judges need more discretion when it comes to setting bail.
