LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Another front is on the way Tuesday to bring the next chance of rain and a couple cooler nights.

The front will work its way through SWLA during the afternoon, which is when the next chance of rain will be. Some spotty showers or even a couple of storms will be possible in the afternoon. Not everyone will see rainfall but there is a chance of a few quick downpours. Keep an eye on the sky if you’ll be outdoors.

Cooler mornings return as we head into our Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Temperatures will dip back into the low 50’s to low 60’s. We’ll have plenty of sunshine each afternoon and highs that stay in the low-to-mid 80’s.
