WEST PALM BEACH — No rope, plank or metal fastening remains of the apparent hunting stand federal agents discovered in a tree line within sight of disembarks from .
The structure was dismantled and removed amid a 24-hour shutdown of Southern Boulevard that ended Oct. 19, during which Palm Beach County deputies held the perimeter while FBI and Secret Service teams documented the scene.
A security consultant familiar with federal investigations said agents likely moved fast, collecting fingerprints and DNA from the ropes and carabiners used to lash the makeshift structure to the tree near Palm Beach International Airport.
