SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Beautiful weather ahead for the next few days but the next major system arrives this weekend bringing another round of widespread storms.

For this evening, we should see very nice conditions with mostly clear skies and temperatures slowly falling into the 70s. After midnight, clouds will quickly increase and showers will start to develop as a cold front races in from the north. It will be a significantly warmer night ahead of this front with temperatures holding in the mid 60s.

Tuesday starts off cloudy with scattered showers as you head off to work and school in the morning. By afternoon, sun returns and it should turn out to be a really nice day with highs near 80.
