Four people are injured after an ambulance struck a vehicle and school building at the intersection of South First Street and West Muhammad Ali Boulevard Oct. 20, Louisville Metro police spokesperson Aaron Ellis said.

A Louisville Metro Emergency Services ambulance transporting a patient was heading southbound on First Street when it collided with a passenger vehicle at the Ali Boulevard intersection at about 4:54 p.m., Ellis said in a statement. The crash caused the ambulance to strike the side of the J. Graham Brown School .
