A man who spent three hours of his weekend abusing emergency service call handlers has been arrested. The 35-year-old man initially made a phone call to the Cheshire Police Force Control Centre with numerous complaints on Sunday (October 19). However, after it was established that there was no emergency response needed, the call was disconnected. His number was blocked by the handlers to avoid the nuisance calls, however, the relentless man began dialling 999 and asked for the ambulance team to put him through to the police.
