You can vote once per hour for the football player of the week

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY — Welcome back to another edition of the Footballer of the Week, once again presented by Glen Oaks Community College.

We had several big games from both individuals and teams last Friday night as squads continue to position themselves for potential playoff runs. Looking at the playoff point summary right now, we should end up with a handful of teams making the post season.

But the ninth and final week of the season will certainly be a big deal. Teams on the edge will need to win and have teams in front of them lose, so there will probably be some scoreboard watching on Friday night.

In any case, there will be an updated football preview for Friday's games later this week. I'll do my best to pile up some information on area teams looking to make the playoffs as well.
