Dean Cox has been unveiled as Western Australia’s coach for next year’s upcoming State of Origin reboot, with the West Coast great and current Sydney mentor entrusted with the job of masterminding a win over Victoria.
Cox will lead WA at Optus Stadium for the February 14 clash, with Geelong coach Chris Scott named as the man to steer the Vics.
“I’m a proud Western Australian and grew up watching State of Origin footy, so this is a real privilege to lead the team in February against the Vics,” Cox said.
