ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The New York State Police at the Capital will be conducting a live training exercise on Sat. Oct. 25. Parts of downtown Albany will be closed for the training drill.

The training is taking place inside the Capitol, Legislative Office Building (LOB), Robert Abrams Building, and Empire State Plaza. The Capitol, LOB, parts of the Empire State Plaza Concourse, and the visitor parking lot below the plaza will be closed.

The public is asked to avoid the area.
