DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Davenport man is facing harboring a runaway, child endangerment, and animal neglect charges.

Jacob R. Preisser, 30, is charged with two counts of harboring a runaway child to remain away from home against the wishes of the child’s parent or guardian, and two counts of child endangerment, according to court documents. Preisser is also charged with six counts of animal neglect for failing to provide food and or water to a confined animal, causing pain, distress or suffering, not resulting in serious injury or death of the animal.

The charges against Preisser stem from the following.

On Sunday at approximately 3:09 p.m., Davenport police said they responded to the 1100 block of Pershing Avenue in reference to a disturbance.
