John Schneider has brought the Toronto Blue Jays to the World Series for the first time in 32 years.
Becoming a first-time manager during the 2022 Blue Jays season, the now-45-year-old Schenider has had his fair share of doubters during his time in charge of Canada’s lone MLB franchise.
With the Blue Jays losing Game 5 6-2 on Friday night in Seattle, Schneider faced heaps of criticism for his bullpen decisions, including turning to struggling reliever Brendon Little in what some fans thought might’ve ultimately cost the team the season.
Fast-forward to late Monday night, and Schneider was firing off expletives on national television again as the team won its biggest game since Joe Carter’s walk-off home run in 1993.
