A massive fire broke out late on Monday night in a building in Delhi’s Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar while people were celebrating Diwali . At least forty fire tenders rushed to the spot. The fire has not yet been completely extinguished. Reports said seven people were rescued time from the fire by the firefighting team. The fire, as per reports, began due to firecrakers, the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) officials said.

A call regarding fire breaking out in two godowns, spanning about 1000 square metres, was received at 1.25 am, an official said, adding that the fire-fighting operation is going on.
