U.S. Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Hoover) isn’t optimistic about federal government shutdown anytime soon because of the current state of the Democratic Party.
The government shut down continued into it’s fourth week Monday as a majority of Democrats in the Senate again voted against a continuing resolution that would re-open the government.
Many Democrats also complained about the shutdown when they participated in “No Kings” protests against President Donald Trump that happened in cities across Alabama and the United States.
