A Drexel Hill woman was sentenced to five years of probation Monday after pleading guilty to driving under the influence as a Tier III second offense for a November 2024 incident in which she crashed into a parked Pennsylvania State Police vehicle.

Sara Lawver, 37, will also have to serve 15 weekends in jail under the negotiated plea worked out by Assistant District Attorney Cierra Eckenrode and defense counsel Brian Eves.

Lawver was arrested Nov. 18, 2024, on two counts of DUI, three counts of reckless endangerment, careless driving, reckless driving and summary traffic offenses including driving while registration was suspended and driving without insurance after she crashed into the PSP vehicle on I-476 south in Ridley Township.
