Shoutout to official Nate Jones on Monday night. At least that's what Jaxon Smith-Njigba should be saying.
In the Seattle Seahawks' 27-19 win over the Houston Texans, cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. was returning an interception when his stiff-arm of JSN knocked the receiver's helmet off. Smith-Njigba gave Stingley Jr. a shove into the Texans' bench area and was nailed in retribution and surrounded by Houston players.

But in came official Nate Jones -- who happens to be a former NFL defensive back -- got right on Smith-Njigba and protected him. As the ESPN broadcast noted, that was a heck of a job there:
Well done, sir.
