Actor and TV personality Pooja Bedi has opened up about walking away from her film career after marriage, revealing that her decision was shaped by cultural expectations and her desire to adapt to a conservative Muslim family.

Speaking candidly about her past marriage to businessman Farhan Furniturewala, Pooja shared that she consciously chose to step back from acting to maintain respect within her new family. “I got married to Farhan who came from a conservative Muslim family and there was no way on earth his family was going to accept a bahu (daughter-in-law) going to the set," she said.
