The Toronto Blue Jays have reached the World Series for this first time in more than three decades thanks to a heroic swing from George Springer.

In the seventh inning of a win-or-go-home American League Championship Series game against the Seattle Mariners on Monday, Springer hit a go-ahead, three-run home run that instantly minted him as a franchise legend.

After that heroic moment, a fellow Blue Jays legend had one word to describe Springer’s performance.

“Unbelievable,” Joe Carter said of the home run, per USA Today’s Bob Nightengale .
