Eos Energy Enterprises, a New Jersey-based zinc battery maker, is investing millions to move its headquarters to Pittsburgh’s North Shore, while also expanding its current operations beyond Turtle Creek, into Marshall Township.
Gov. Josh Shapiro said Tuesday morning that Eos will invest $352.9 million to do so and, in turn, the Commonwealth will invest $22 million into the project to create 735 new jobs and retain 265 current positions. Mr. Shapiro is holding a press conference at 1 p.m. in Turtle Creek to announce more details.
