More brands are introducing fees to return items, and customers are growing tired of it.

Next, New Look, ASOS, Debenhams, H&M, and more all charge customers varying amounts for returning their products.

In a new report by Retail Week, they found that around 80 per cent of fashion sites targeted at young shoppers now put a fee on returning clothes.

Online retailers have cited "serial returners" as part of the reason for the fees, in a bid to dissuade people from taking clothes back continually.

Next charges customers £2.50 for each item returned, though they can save money on deliveries and returns by opting for an annual subscription, which costs £22.50 a year.

New Look customers, on the other hand have to pay £2.95 to ship items back via Evri or In-Post.
