The four newly elected members of Saint Joseph School’s Student Council were sworn in Oct. 9 by Circuit Judge R. Steven Redding at the Berkeley County Courthouse in Martinsburg. Under the soothing eyes of Raya Sunshine, a Goldendoodle whose job is to calm the nerves of people having to make court appearances - especially children - the following students, from left, took their official oaths of office: Georgia Samuelson, secretary; Rebecca Sharp, treasurer; Maya Nguyen, vice president; and Alana Espenlaub, president.
