One of the IndyCar Series ' legendary teams is extending its reach into the development series.
A.J. Foyt Racing will field two cars in Indy NXT in 2026, backed by a strategic alliance with Indy NXT powerhouse HMD Motorsports .
“This has been a long time coming,” Larry Foyt, Foyt team president, said. “We’ve played a significant role in developing drivers who have gone on to compete at the top level of IndyCar . We felt it was time to get involved in the Indy NXT by Firestone program again.”
